Technology of Meaning, and the Future of Meaningful Technology

There are a number of interesting prior examples of using technology to promote meaning. Usually the examples are cases of language or logic which are not even ostensibly material. If they relate with a material it is by some large leap of significance, such as by using books, or computer programs, or in some other way requiring technical knowledge.I will list a number of examples that have been influential in the general pursuit of meaning. I find that these have been very limited in their numbers:[1] The use of dualism, polarity, and the invocation of divine judgment[2] Aristotle’s logical syllogisms, developed from the work of Plato in his dialogues[3] The Abacus, now used as a symbol for math[4] The use of diagrams, canvases, or artistic frames to illustrate organizational patterns or mandalas[5] The use of rocks or sand, or maps or a chalk board as a writing surface, to implicate the reality of thoughts; similarly the use of bold pens, glow-screens, and stylistic choices to exaggerate the effects of thoughts[6] The invention of the computer and computer functions, to make “formulas” and “daemons” which give meaning speed and a formalized process; here the development was possible through a technical use of materials which was not always technical in its implied significance[7] Economic and social functions as a function of the above, such as monetary banks which use computers, and institutions which make use of philosophical logic to understand their correlation to the worldThe networked trans-genesis of these concepts has been very linear, even if it is multi-linear, and can be understood.I would like to explicate some additional theories or members of the collection of meaningful technologies:[1] Combining (1) and (4), a typologically exclusive diagram expressing a double-duality. This is a step beyond considering that everything is an opposite or ambiguous, which has been a major contention in philosophical logic. Categorical Diagram.[2] Quantum Logic follows from the use of a categorical diagram as expressed just above, it is a combination of (1), (4), and (2).[3] A computer bank or program that makes highly selective choices based on logically related categories. This is an extension of (1), (4), (2), and (6). Categorical Knowledge for Computing. Basically people think this is how it works right now, but this is not the case. There is currently no coherent system, just HTML and C++, etc. Recursivity and quantification have not become exclusive sets and iteration. If this were already the case, there would be computer-generated books with a significance on par with the Buddha.[4] Typological organizations of math, allowing contingent applications of what otherwise are misunderstood formulas. A proto-mathematical logical function that organizes math potential and streamlines mathematical creativity into computer functions. Meta-Math. This combines (1), (4), (2), and (3).[5] Citizenship which functions by logical formulas. That is, citizens who have complex and streamlined functions in synch with a quantum logic computer. The computer would provide options and interact with the individuals as well as social functions in a way that was highly integrated with mental and formal information. This is no longer a passive computer: Non-Passsive Computing. This is a function of (1), (4), (2), and (7).[6] In tandem with brain chemistry and efficient neurological stimulation, the use of quantum information processing to create highly Compound Thoughts, which are a function of the logic and qualities—logical qualities–of the conceptual locations of thoughts within a quantum logic system. Essentially, logic could be built into the emotional structure of information—qua thoughts—and thus used as a form of synthetic material input into the nature of synthetic chemistry. This is a function of (1), (4), (2), (6), and (5). These should not be ‘concrete’ thoughts, as much as prone-nesses to stimulation, occurring at the juncture in which it is possible to stimulate general qualities such as ‘association’, ‘epiphany’, ‘generalism’, or ‘technicalism’.[7] Using quantum logic (which may exist in a simple computer program, with sufficient knowledge), the capacity to extrapolate new societies, new forms of government, and new paradigmatic realities, from the logical existence of society as a form of quantum logic computer. Categorical Evolution. Fixed categories will evolve, from the processing of dynamic systems information, according to the rule that what is not a subject is a context, implicating centralization, quantification, individual adaptability or capacity at processing, and fixed points of logical reference. This is a function of (1), (4), (2), (6), (5), and (7).To sum up these ‘methods’, there will be a top-down ‘inference’ of top-down function, and a bottom-up ‘inference’ of bottom-up significance. The function and significance will still integrate with old archetypes, but with the implication that these archetypes are merely meaningfully functional categories. Ultimately society, mathematics, and art will seem like meaningful positions in a larger context of reference, meaningfully arbitrary contexts which offer a selection of understandable tools and permutations. The larger context, the context of the meta-language which develops from meaningful computing, will be such that those meanings are arbitrary, but this does not mean that they are dysfunctional. They are still real categories that can be understood as small apertures on the coherent, unitary field of potential significance. Other categories will exist that are equally meaningful. By making small stipulations or rules within quantum logic, it is possible to see that any dysfunctional system is merely an attempt to contextualize the rules of reference.The real potential of the technology of meaning will be to use information to add exponents to the significance of any individual category. Each category will have both contextual and subjectual value. It will be possible to address information both as a defensible subject and as an exterior object. Furthermore, the dynamic significance of human life as a citizen compatible with information will be corroborated from the overlapping layers of related information, itself minutely delineated logically within a system of social and intellectual correspondences.The opportunity for hacking society, hacking God, hacking the encyclopedia, and hacking the meaning of life will become all the more evident, and be rendered as something that is fundamentally both addictive and harmless.The category of war is reduced to something that lacks a context when it is unopposed. Peace and virtue become a pragmatic value as defensible as breathing, sleeping, and learning.The real potential of this system is actually open-ended, but that is not the principle. One cannot assume that because it seems that the system is open-ended, that it does not offer permanent judgments and decisive frames of reference. Largely, the permutative cycles and iterations of reference will be available to the average interested citizen. But the nature of knowledge will be determined by every pragmatic choice that went into the gradual development of language and technology.These are still significances, only they have grown more complex than misunderstanding.
